I spotted this 'Slash Victoria' Goldtop les Paul online @ 'Gino Guitars Italy'. At only 3,8kg, I just had to try it because I believe that most 'leight-weight' les Paul tend to sound pretty good. Normally I always play a guitar before buying it, but since Krommenie -> Italy is like 1000 miles, I took the risk and ordered it. When it arrived I was happy to find out that it plays very well but also the gold colour had the 'right' colour. Well gold is gold, you might think, but Gibson thinks different according to the various 'goldtop-colours' out there. As for the sound; While I actually like the stock 'Slashbuckers', I replaced them with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity set for a more pure 'vintage low output' sound. The neck profile and the overall feel of the guitar is great.
